Leveling A Rogue - Discover How To Level Up Your Rogue Fast

Looking for some tips on leveling a Rogue? When World of Warcraft first came out

, the Rogue was one of the most feared classes as it was quite imbalanced and very easy for just any newbie to take a hold of the class and dominate with it.

Rogues are not so imbalanced these days, however they still pose quite a threat and are still fun to play. Before you get started though, here are a few tips that will help you to level up a bit easier:

For the first 10 or so levels leveling a Rogue, things are pretty simple. You wont be using the Backstab ability much, however you will be making good use of Sinister Strike and Eviscerate.

Be sure to find a good weapon that deals a lot of damage via Sinister Strikes.

When you reach level 6 you will gain the Gouge ability, this is quite useful since you can use it to stun an enemy if you happen to get swarmed by too many units. Also, you can use it to get behind your enemy and use a Backstab. One additional note here, at level 6, don't forget to upgrade to Sinister Strike Level 2.

Upon reaching level 8, you will gain access to Eviscerate level 2, you'll also be able to use the Evasion ability. Evasion is a good skill to pick up since it will allow you to get away from a mob of enemies if you're about to die, don't overuse it though since it has a long cooldown time.

Past level 10, you will need to figure out what weapon type you're going to specialize in. You can go for either maces, swords, fists or daggers. This is going to determine where you place your talent points.

You're not going to want to mix up your weapon types since this will lead to your Rogue being less powerful then it could be. For example, if you choose to specialize in daggers, make sure both your weapons are daggers.
