List building can be a very easy way to increase profits for your business. For example, say you own a restaurant that just released a new lunch special. But what do you do now? How are you going to inform your previous customers of your new deal? List building is your answer. You can have people subscribe at your restaurants website for something free such as a coupon for dinner. Or really anything that would be of value for them, after they subscribe to your list you have contact with them forever, most of the time. Unless they unsubscribe, but for me that doesn't happen very often.
You simply have to email your list of something useful each week and by doing that you are building a quality relationship with you and your list (This is very important, building this relationship can alone increase your profits for the future. Remember to treat your subscribers like real people, because they are!) By doing this you open up a doorway for your business. That doorway allows you to promote your business and inform people of new stuff you have, really anything you want to inform your customers with, you can!
Say one of your customers comes to your restaurant for the first time and loves it! BUT due to the busy life they have they forget all about it unfortunately. Well with list building you can remind your visitors that you are still out there! This alone can increase profits for you and your business!
