Whether you are looking for a career change, or perhaps you are out of work and are looking for a business opportunity, you should consider checking into a network marketing opportunity. Although, as is the case will any business opportunity, there are no guarantees, network marketing offers the potential to own you own business, work from home, and at the same time make a good income.

Now, so that you are not misled, it is true that most network marketing businesses fail in the first 90 days. This however is usually not a fault of the business model, but rather often a result of a lack of training and knowledge in how to successfully run a network marketing or multi-level marketing enterprise, or sometimes simply a result of lack goals, organization, determination, or persistence. Often, those that fail just simply gave up too easily.

Network marketing does require all of the above. The startup cost is relatively low so, besides the time spent getting things going, there is very little upfront investment. A network marketing business operates on the premise that manufacturers will pay distributors to sell their products. This reduces their overhead costs since these distributors are not employees, but receive a commission on everything they sell. Being an independent distributor, you would then set up your own distribution and sales force. This sales force would consist of other distributors below you, more distributors under them, and so and on and so on. As the sponsor at the top of this organization, you make a commission off of all of their sales. It is a multi-level marketing network.

Although, running a business such as this take a great deal of time and effort, the rewards can be great. The flexibility you will have as your own boss cannot be discounted. You decide how to spend your days. The days you work and the hours you work are up to you. Don't think, however, that it will be all time spent by the pool drinking your favorite beverage, it takes determined and persistent effort to constantly be finding new people interested in selling and becoming distributors themselves for the products. You will spend a great deal of time training new distributors and supporting and assisting them so that they will be successful. The more successful they are more successful you will be.

If you are a person that has the determination and persistence, and desire to work hard to build such a distribution network, the potential is there for you to make money and have the life that you want. The payoff can be enormous.
