Oh New York City. It is the greatest city on the face of the planet. There a lot of places to see; restaurants to have dinner in; the bars, clubs, and nightlife are very fun; local events to participate in; there are a lot of job opportunities and you can easily find your own niche; and whole lot of other things that make New York City fantastic. It is because of all these reasons that it is easy the most populated city in the United States. With so many people living there, is it worth it to rent an apartment in New York City? Oh absolutely.

While it is hard to find a decent apartment for rent in New York City that you can afford, it is not above the realm of possibility. You just have to look carefully and find the right resources with which to find the best place for you to hang your hat. But once you have found the right place for you, the city is yours to explore and play around in. And from personal experience, you will not regret it a single bit. Manhattan Island is just over 22 square miles of sightseeing, entertainment, interesting venues and more; the truth is, if you do not find anything you like about the city then you are doing something wrong. But for a grand majority of us in New York City, we love the city and spend every Friday evening or Saturday evening having fun. And you do not have to hang out at night, on a good Saturday or Sunday morning you can walk on over to one of them many public parks in the area and relax, read a book, and take in the scenery. One of my favorite things to do is take a trip to Central Park in the middle of Manhattan and just sit and read a book. I actually have a favorite spot in the park: by one of the small baseball fields there is a flat, medium-size boulder that I like to sit on and catch a Minor League game or two.

As far as the night scene goes, there are a ton of concerts and clubs you can check out. Every weekend you can count on there being a local band or group performing live in front of an audience; and in many cases, there are playing for free just for the publicity and exposure. If you like to dance, New York City is famous for having some of the best nightclubs in the world. If you just want to sit down and knock back a few colds with friends - again, from personal experience - this city will more than satisfy your desire for a little imbibing. These are one of the many benefits of NYC apartment rentals.

My best advice to you is to go out and rent an apartment in New York City, with the right job and right head on your shoulders you will love it.
