Depending on terms of service, in case they develop problems, the company sends the technician to fix them. Portable makes are fixed with wheels and handles to assist movements.

Conditioning applications are categorized into two major classes, process and comfort. Process applications are relevant in places like industries and hospitals. They provide favorable conditions for a given process. The processes are susceptible to chaos if variations in air conditions and quality occur. For example, surgical procedures like cardiac surgery require low temperatures for the entire period of the operation without fluctuations. Integrated circuit manufactures must ensure stable and quality in the air elements around and inside the clean rooms to avoid spoiling the chips.

Comfort applications function to give tolerable and comfortable conditions inside buildings. They must ensure that internal condition does not vary widely as the external does. Relative humidity should be maintained at a certain level while temperatures do not vary widely from a given point of reference.

Conditioning has resulted into construction of tall and wide buildings. This is because they can be installed by their own aeration systems without depending on the surrounding environment for ventilation. As heights increase, many atmospheric elements also change. For example, the speed of wind almost doubles with every mile of ascending. This makes it impractical to maintain the same external conditions as the interior.
