Lose The Pounds With High Intensity Workouts.
People all over the world are looking for programs that will help them loss weight
. There is tons of information you can find, some works and some doesnt. High Intensity Interval Training or HIIT is a cardio method that focuses on short burst of working your body hard followed by a recovery period. One example of HIIT would be sprinting for 30 seconds followed by walking for a couple of minutes and then repeating the process.
Some of the benefits of a high intensity workout like this is your legs will be worked hard. This would eliminate the need to focus on your legs during your standard work out. Short but high intensity workouts causes your body to burn fat and calories and also produces and after burn type effect which means your body will continue to burn fat and calories for hours after you finish your workout.
It is important to focus on your entire body when you work out. You dont just want to focus on your legs, instead work out your legs one day, then maybe your abs the next. Training your entire body will cause you to lose fat and gain muscle over your entire system.
Change up the style of your workouts for a more complete routine. Start by changing the length of your sprint intervals. Short intervals between 20 - 30 seconds sprinting as hard as you can increases exertion and strengthens your metabolism. The next time you do your workout try sprinting for 45 seconds followed by a longer break. Dont let your body get to used to one specific routine.
Be sure to give your body enough time to recover during your recuperating time. After you sprint for 30 seconds, walk for a minute and then sprint again. You do not want to over exert your body without giving yourself enough time to recover. If your body hasnt recovered then you will be more prone to injury.
A great example of a high intensity workout is hockey players, yes Im using a sports reference. Hockey players go on the ice and skate as hard as possible for 30 seconds to a minute, followed by a 2 to 3 minute break. The reason they do this is so they can go back out on the next shift and go as hard as they can again. The breaks they take allow them to keep up the fast paced momentum for the full length of the game.
Starting out with a high intensity routine will be difficult at first, but then again all workout routines will be difficult for a beginner. By making a plan and sticking to it you can achieve your weight loss goals and gain energy and vitality in your life.
