Strengths:

Though small, the 4605 abounds with convenient features. A top loading feeder allows bulky material to easily enter the blades, such as crumpled paper. You could empty a small wastebasket into the hopper. A designated rotating paddle keeps material constantly fed into the machine. If the device gets jammed, the hopper is electronically tilted back for quick and safe clearing. A photo cell controlled standard feed opening offers easy insertion of flat items and automatic shredding. When not in use, the feed table folds away for easy storage.

A soft touch control panel operates forward, stop and reverse functions. In case of accidental overfeeding, an automatic off stops the shredding and items are reversed out of the blades.
