Many have considered that Multilevel Marketing, or popularly known as MLM, a business on human relationships rather than sales.

Well, it is nothing further than the truth because when most of your time is spent on prospecting for new recruits. Most think that the MLM business is fraught with misconceptions, especially about the high failure rate when compared to other home businesses.

However, all this could be eradicated when you have learnt the right marketing approach. As the proverb says "The world is your oyster". There are literally hundreds and millions people out searching for your business opportunity. But how are you going to reach out to them?

Blogging is like writing a letter to your friends and setting up a blog is a breeze, and it is free too. But what should you write in your blog to make people join your MLM network?

Be a mentor

Brush up your communications skills when you are prospecting for recruits. You can be sure that most people have heard of MLM but they are not ready to join you yet as they are also trying to find out how your business opportunity works and how it would benefit them.

Remember MLM is all about "people recruit people" business. Help them and guide them of your trade secrets. Be their mentor and friend. Tell them of your product line and teach them the tactics of prospecting of clients effectively using blogs.

Be transparent

Tell your prospect, how you work. Explain to them clearly and concisely how your compensation plan works. Do not hide behind a shroud of secrecy. Explain to them how the structure of your networking is going to be, like the number of levels of down-line and up-line and how they could get promoted up in the hierarchy ladder of your network. Not forgetting to tell them the background story of the mother company and its history as this would inspire them to be as successful as those pioneers in the organisation.

Reduce rejection

Establish yourself as a no-nonsense mentor on first contact. Show your expertise and authority in your writing and posts. Focus on people who have doubts by inviting them to posts their comments after each post you have made.

Develop and build the rapport and answer all their questions. Post interesting "How to" topics on how to recruit and how to promote and sells your products line. In time you are able to lead them over and over again.

That way you have earned their respects and probably you will receive less rejection and less resistance from them. That is how you would develop your confidence and recruits more.

Teach them to promote their own business using blogs with contents that people are looking for about their networking marketing. Share with them the SEO tactics to make their blog site visible to the search engines. Do not treat your down-line as your competitor who would steal your customers away. On the contrary, everyone in your group should be working together. Share links with each other and post comments and encouragement on each other blogs.
