Down line: They are the representatives who are being recruited from the Up line. These people work under the recruiter and do not enjoy the commission payment for the work they do.

The home-based MLM business is a joint venture of the Up line and the Down lines. It is very important of the participation of both the teams. Without any team then it is very difficult to manage the work. The functioning of both the teams is very much necessary for a successful business.

If there are no people to work and is there are no efficient workers, then it is difficult to get income and there will be no customers to work. This means that working of both teams is very important.

1. Maintenance of the sales: Even though the home-based business seems to be very easy it requires very careful analysis of the income and the expenditure. It should be reviewed every one hour for the flow of money. This is very essential for the business to be successful. Report should be prepared on everyday's income and expenditure for every hour.

2. Monitoring the products and services:

The word monitoring implicitly implies that the products should be monitored at intervals of time. This means that there should not be any good that are in stack for long period of hours. This will result in wastage of the goods.

3. Training of the Down lines:

Training should be given to the Down line regularly. Learning is very much important before starting the work. Give them good salaries so that it will boost the work.
