Anand Mahindra, the Vice Chairman and Managing Director of $7.1 bn Mahindra Group

, said that in keeping with their long term plans for the (Sri Lanka) region, the group is soon going to enhance its current product portfolio in the market by launching several new products. This will include the Maxximo, a technologically modern sub 1 tonne pick up and HCVs (Heavy Commercial Vehicles), addedMahindra. He further added that the company is also analyzing on the chances of launching an electric car, the Mahindra Reva, in Sri Lanka, in the future.
