Mahindra Verito With New Features!

Mahindra and Mahindra is India"s well-known sports utility manufacturer

, but its Verito sedan has made its own space in the Indian car market. Recently, the car maker has launched a face lifted version of Mahindra Verito. The company has worked hard on the car and made it very sophisticated and muscular. However, the car is not less than 4 meters in length, but it has been priced less than the famous Maruti Swift Dzire. Verito, earlier known as Logan was made in collaboration with Renault. But after parting ways, Mahindra and Mahindra had given the sedan a complete makeover and Indianized it in every way.

The major changes done to the exteriors of the new Mahindra Verito Sedan comprise of the boxy front bumper accompanied by new front chrome grille, much larger and better headlamps, muscular lines and very neatly done wheel arches fitted with 14 inches of alloy wheels. The rear end of the new Mahindra Verito sedan has got a new deck lid with number plate that is now positioned on the trunk unlike stuck to the rear bumper in the older variant.

The interiors of the new Mahindra Verito comprise of some posh and premium feel. The car now has elegant upholstery for the seats, two tone instrument panel, grey color themed interiors, 2-DIN music system with full connectivity, audio controls on the steering wheel and a completely revamped centre console.

For driver"s comfort, the new Mahindra Verito sedan has been provided with ergonomic controls, which have been refreshed and made best for the Indian style driving. This actually means that the wiper switches are positioned to the left now unlike on the right side as seen in Logan. On the other hand, the indicator stalks and headlamps have been located right at the back of the steering wheel on the right side of driver. The power window switches have been mounted on the doors, while the electrically handled ORVMs and refreshed grab handles give the car a more premium and stylish look.

Coming to the engine and technical specifications, the new Mahindra Verito is available in the same engine options as before. The car has 1.5Litre DCi diesel motor and 1.4L MPFi petrol engine option. Both the engines are capable of delivering good power and torque and are coupled with five speed manual transmission. The mileage delivered by the diesel variant of the car is 21.03kmpl, whereas the petrol variant of the car manages to deliver a decent mileage of 13.87kmpl.

Lastly, the safety features of the new Mahindra Verito are same as before. The sedan comes with anti lock braking system with electronic brake force distribution system that would prevent the car wheels from locking up when immediate brakes are applied. The new Verito also has engine immobilizer, driver airbags and good braking system.

On the whole, the new Mahindra Verito is a good deal and a total Indian sedan that is provides great comfort and delivers superb performance on road.
