Sign up is also important if you want only the subscribers to access additional content of your website. Use a combination of CSS and XHTML. It makes a separation of Content from design. Using external CSS file is more efficient because you only have to update a single file when required. With separate files the content of your site will load faster and search engines will not have to search through excess code to find out your relevant content. Your code should be accurate too. Valid code ensures that your site will look good across different web browsers and it will also help you out with search engines.

Moreover make your site compatible with as many popular web browsers as you can. So that users should using different web browsers can view the same display of your website. Using sitemap in your site is also useful. In efficient sitemap every page of your website will be listed in hierarchical format which will clearly show the relationship of primary pages with sub-pages and so on.
