Make A Gift Of Charm Bracelets For Your Child's Teachers

Buying an end of the year gift for a special teacher can be a difficult task to for sure

. This year instead of the same old coffee mugs, calendars and desk sets I deciding to do something a bit special. My son's teacher loves jewelry and always has some very unique bracelets on, so I decided to talk to the other Mom's and see what they thought about a class gift. Charm bracelets are so in fashion and versatile that I thought this would be the perfect match.

There are so many different designs, styles and types of charm bracelets that we had to try to narrow it down. All of us Moms started looking at what type of jewelry the teacher seemed to like and we agreed on a very simple yet beautiful single strand type of bracelet. There were some votes of gold charm bracelets and some for silver, so that was the next big decision.

Two weeks before the end of the year class party we met and decided that Ms. Murray wore more silver than gold, so we agreed to select from a variety of silver charm bracelets we all liked.

Since each one of our children had different likes and favorite things about school, we decided that each child should add his or her own charm to the bracelets. We were sure that unlike other charm bracelets she may have, this one was going to be very personal and unique.

Since school, teachers and kids seemed to be the most appropriate theme, we started looking through books on charm bracelets that showed various ways to arrange the charms. We also got some great ideas for special teacher charms.

Apples were big on all the teacher themed charm bracelets. Several of the kids picked out apples of all different sizes, shapes and styles. There were also charms that included books, pencils and number one teacher messages.

All of us Moms got together and selected a disk type of charm that we engraved with the year and a special message of thanks from the parents. Since the class had done some neat projects and gone on some great field trips we also included these types of charms.

At the end of the year class party the kids were thrilled when Ms. Murray opened her gift and told them how much she loved charm bracelets. The message charm as well as each charm from the kids looked just beautiful. This was such as hit as a class gift I am going to consider charm bracelets for other teachers in the future.
