. Within a short period of time it gained a lot of popularity. SMS and MMS i.e. short messages and multimedia messages both help in enriching a business. These two methods are cost effective methods of finding solutions and reaching out to the audience. Though both these methods come under mobile marketing many a times business companies fall into a dilemma whether they should approach their customers in such a personal manner. Personal manner in the sense when we talk about making calls or messages it indeed becomes personal.
Earlier text messaging was not that popular but these days we know how popular it has become. Also we can define that it is the best route to reach out to people. SMS has put email back in the race of communication as emails no longer prove to be the fastest method of communication. SMS and MMS is being used as an efficient business tool but then using too much of SMS too can sometimes create a feeling of spam messages in the minds of customers. Sending daily messages can irritate customers so sending two messages would be sufficient. Companies and other business sectors in order to reach out to their customers must also see to it that they are sending messages at proper time and day.
Text messages when sent by companies should not always focus on selling their products or goods. Instead it should also see what the customer requires. Business companies should not send messages to any random people. They should send it only to those registered customers because only they who are registered, they are interested in knowing about the companys business and new proposals. Marketing and making business reach great heights is today not new of its kind because now everyone prefers SMS over any other communication.
Text messaging campaigns are today adopted by every other school or company for promotional activities. And why not they use it, there is hardly any other cost effective way available today for marketing and publicizing apart from SMS.
So people who were and are texting do not leave it for any purpose and keep texting always.
