Scoop out the local events in your community. See what type of crowd the events are meant to attract. Then sell food at these events that will directly relate to the audience. You can buy or make the food and then sell it at double, or even triple the prices.

Here's an example: if your community is hosting a children's fair, then consider baking cupcakes or cookies to sell outside the gates. You will get a lot of children leaving with their parents after a day of fun. They will most likely be hungry for a quick snack before heading home.

Or, if your local community is hosting a popular rock band at one of the local bars, consider setting up a food stand outside the gates. After the bar closes, many people will be starving, especially if they have been drinking and partying all night long. They will be looking for a quick food fix and your hot dogs, pizza, etc are exactly what they are looking for.

Another way to cash is at your local college. After the cafeteria closes for the night, those living in the dormitories don't have many options for food. Set up a food stand outside the local pub or library and catch the starving students on their way back to their room for the night.
