Content is King

When it comes to building a business web site that works, content is still king. You will need to find the right balance in terms of how much content you want, and remember that search engines rely heavily on this content to determine rankings in search results.

Do not rip-off anyone else's content, ever. No, no. This will only lower your search rankings. You will need good content both on your site and linking back to your site. Writing articles and submitting them to article directories to get back links to your site is the number one inexpensive thing you can do today.

So write lots and lots of good content, it's the most cost effective way to market your site on the web. If you have trouble writing, hire a friend to do it for you, or edit your work.
