When you have as much success as Market America has had, it's likely that a few will think it's a scam.

Market America has been selling goods through an online shopping portal since 92'. This was the brainchild of heavy Amway hitter RJ Ridinger.
They are considered to be a "brokerage" because they don't manufacture products. All the products sold on the Market America website are made by 3rd party companies.
Although the company headquarters are in Greensboro North Carolina, they operate in several countries internationally.
It always amazes me when I see network marketing companies who have had awesome success in the market. Market America is one of these companies. During their time in business they have touched millions of lives worldwide.
This company should really be praised not criticized for being a scam. Truly, they have done some amazing things.

MARKET AMERICA'S UNFRANCHISE BUSINESS MODEL
How bout the work from home business that Market America provides. Is it legit?
Traditional franchises cost a lot of money to get started. Once you buy one, you are given a limited area in which to operate. For instance, Mcdonald's will only allow so many franchisees in a city. They usually base it on population. With Market America, you can get started for as little as a few hundred dollars and have the freedom to operate anywhere. This is why they call their business an "unfranchise". They say it's has all the advantages of a franchise without the downsides of one.
Some people disagree with this concept.
First, people say that one of the reasons franchises are so expensive is that they have a proven track record of helping their franchisees make money. In network marketing, a lot of people do NOT make money.
