Maruti Suzuki India is gearing up for introducing the diesel variant of its sedan model SX4 in the year 2011
. The company sells its SX4 model in reasonable numbers in comparison of the other models of this particular segment. Such models include Honda City, Hyundai Verna Transform and Fiat Linea. The new model of Maruti Suzuki India will also get a tough competition from the Volkswagen Vento also.
Maruti Suzuki India has got good hope from its new diesel variant of SX4. The company is hopeful that the new diesel model of Maruti SX4 will be beneficial for it as it will help MSI fetch some more share in the market.
The medium range sedan sector will now have another potential competitor in it with the arrival of the new diesel variant of Maruti SX4. Presently, Fiat is all set to launch Fiat Linea T-Jet model in India. The company is already selling the diesel Fiat Linea. The new T-Jet model is expected to be better and stronger than the earlier Fiat Linea. The other company, Hyundai has also introduced the face lifted version of its Hyundai Verna model. On the other side, the Volkswagen Vento will now be available in both diesel and petrol variants.
