5. Shiatsu
Shiatsu is a form of Japanese massage that uses finger pressure in a sequence on acupuncture meridians. Each point is held for two to ten seconds to improve the body and help it to regain balance. This is probably one of the most well known types of massage therapy in New York.
6. Back Massage
Some clinics and spas offer 30 minute back massages. If the spa in your area does not offer a back session exclusively, you can also book a 30 or 40 minute body massage and ask that the massage therapist focus on your back. This is great as the massage therapy in New York and around the world will have your back.
