Regarded as the premiere institution in the country, All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) was founded by a Parliament Act to achieve the goal of developing high-quality undergraduate and postgraduate medical courses. It boasts complete amenities for training and research in 42 subjects. There are 25 medical sections to take care of patients with super-specialty centres. AIIMS also operates a hospital with 60 beds in Haryana. Its trainers and staff bring out over 600 research issues every year.

Different specializations include pharmacy, general medicine and dental medicine. This third-biggest state in India has institutions such as Grant Medical College (GMC) and the Sir J.J. GMC in Mumbai is ranked among the top ten medical colleges in India in accordance with a popular magazine. Around 100 students take admission into its MBBS course every year and approximately 50 students into its nursing course. The institute provides education in fields such as medicine, cardiology, neurology, orthopedics, urology, reconstructive surgery, psychotherapy and biochemistry.
