Merimbula literally means 'two lakes' in the native Australian language. It is one of the best places for water activity. It is one of those quiet towns where you can sit back and relax. The town is mainly known for the beautiful beaches that it sports with sapphire waters washing in. Another great place to visit while you are here in Merimbula is the Wallagoot Lagoon. This lagoon is located more or less north of the town and provides for quite a trip for all tourists to this place.
