Milpitas New Car Drivers Ready For 2011 Hybrid Honda Cr-z
Hybrids and hatchbacks and crossovers--oh, my! Who can keep them all straight
? But smart buyers who opt to purchase a Honda CR-Z Hybrid won't have to worry about decoding strange names or comparing styles. They can just revel in the fact that they have found the best of the class.
Milpitas new car customers will appreciate what Honda has done with the former CRX hatchback. It has been transformed into a sharp, efficient new vehicle which is now dubbed the CR-Z. (It seems automakers have run out of clever names for vehicles, as many of the new ones are being named with letters, some of which are so similar it's difficult to tell what's what.)
But Honda buyers of any Milpitas used car can certainly tell that the new CR-Z sport hybrid is worth their time. This two-seat hatchback provides excellent fuel efficiency and a fun driving experience. Powered by a 1.5-liter gasoline engine that has 122 horsepower, it is paired with the Integrated Motor Assist system from Honda and is reported to get up to 38 mph on the highway.
One test driver described the experience of driving the CR-Z as "seamless" and "utterly fluid". With the look of a flashy sport car, it's what one would expect. With the options of six-speed transmission or CVT mode, reviewers recommend the manual transmission just for the fun of it. In fact, in comparison to similar vehicles by other automakers, it's a smooth ride.
With eco, normal and sport modes the CR-Z has something for everyone and every occasion. Interestingly the system even alerts the driver to whether the car is being driven in an eco-friendly manner. While in eco and normal modes the gauges will light up green or blue most of the time (unless you're really being aggressive-- or going fast). When you switch to sports mode the gauges will move from blue to red most of the time, but the fuel efficiency stays pretty much intact.
So Milpitas used car customers and other hopeful sports coupe drivers, take heart! The Honda CR-Z really does deliver the driving experience you have been waiting for and allows you to stay green and keep some of your green with its amazingly low price point. The starting price is just over $19,000 and that shouldn't be too hard on anyone's budget.
Although the CR-Z is not in showrooms yet, your Milpitas new car dealer anticipates it will arrive early next year. And it will be worth the wait since a price for a well-equipped version at a very affordable $23,300. And even if you can't remember the letters in its name very well, the CR-Z is so beautiful to look at that no one will really mind.
