My mission for the next three months is to lose weight
, so I can fit into my new gorgeous dress that I bought for the Annual Charity Ball. Every year I organise a ball to raise money for blind children with the help of my wonderful volunteers.
For me, my job is very rewarding and I will do it for as long as I can. I have been working for this charity for 9 years and I have seen many childrens lives change by a little donation from everybody. I tell everyone who attend the ball that every penny counts and so far that statement has proved to be true.
As well as organising the ball I have to make sure I look the part of the host. This year I bought the perfect red gown which fits me perfectly but it doesnt have the smooth flow look and too achieve that I have to lose a little weight.
My first step was to join the gym which I have done and have started to attend, my next step is to make time for swimming but feel a bit embarrassed of the way my body looks. I finally plucked up the courage to go but I dragged my best friend with me who wasnt very happy.
We were both changed and ready to leave the changing room but neither of us wanted to get out the cubicle. After five minutes of staring at each other we managed to walk to the swimming pool and it didnt feel so scary after all that.
Once we got in the swimming pool it was great but then I really wanted to use the highest diving board to jump and thats exactly what I did. I climbed all the way to the top, walked to the end of the board and then it happened, I jumped and created the biggest splash in London.
Its the moment of truth, the ball is today and my three months are up. Ive put the dress on and it was perfect, the smooth and flow look was there. That was a great achievement.
