Over the last few years there have been several different things that have hit our economy that we haven't seen for years or even decades

In fact there was one report on a couple that had a nice, fancy home. They had spent lots of money on different things like boats, traveling, home decorations, entertaining, etc. They lived the high life and really enjoyed it. Then their stocks crashed and they lost tons of money with the stocks. Then he lost his job and went from a really high salary to not being able to get a job. He was over qualified. Then they tried to sell their home, but the economy wasn't friendly to that situation. Eventually they lost everything and they were now living in a trailer in temporary trailer park. They had lost much hope of overcoming where they were at that point.
Over the last year we have heard a lot about all of the different options to help people save their homes. There is the normal refinancing and the interest rates being lowered. They say that banks want to help people and will do all they can to help them with this option. Then when you get into the thick of it you realize that it is very complicated and many are saying that the banks are not cooperating as easily as they thought.
