Nearly everyone has heard the clich that "... music can soothe the savage beast." Yet, in current society, interpretations of the meanings of words and lyrics leaves a lot to be desired. Much of what human beings think and feel about music, especially the rap genre, has incorrect motivations or remains wrongly interpreted by mainstream society. Especially injurious for the 21st century and beyond, is the perpetuation of negative stereotypes from traditional rap music heard by teenagers around the world.
Simply put, rap has gotten a bad name... and basically this has occurred through lack of education carried out by individuals who are both capable and caring. This reading, as well as the ones which follow it, will artfully plus intuitively introduce you to the new philosophies crafted by "Marcus" style motivational rap music. Teenagers in the United States of America, and across the globe, as well, comprise the future of mankind. Yet, the messages dispersed and learned by both parents and teens alike have, unfortunately, been driven by authoritative disrespect, crime, and gangsta-type" scenarios.
Such philosophies are in no way to be considered the ONLY contributing point of rap music as a whole. Marcus Parker was born on September 3, 1974 and is an American author, writer, and motivational rap artist. Marcus Parker attended Lincoln High School in Port Arthur, Texas. After graduating, he joined the United States Air Force, where he was trained in field of electronics. After four years of service Marcus Parker left with an honorable discharge and an associates degree in Electronics Systems Technology from the Community College of the Air Force. He worked in the semi conductor field after his service and gained a very high income as an electronics equipment technician. After writing his autobiography The Product in 2004 and consequently speaking and travelling to schools and churches, and youth groups speaking to youth about staying positive and getting past their hardships, he wrote online eBooks, which can be found on Amazon and he has over 50 motivational rap songs to his credit. Most of these songs he wrote and produced himself and are found to this day on iTunes.
