His book, 'The Modern Frankenstein' published in 1986 was the first to predict the rise and importance of genetic engineering, cloning and the breakthrough of super intelligent machines that may rival the human species in the late 21st Century. His 1996 best selling book, 'Digital Business' established a blueprint for Internet commerce and created a staple business plan for many online retailers.
