Movie Actors Who Wore Bra In The Movies

It is expected that gay men tend to wear bras at one point in time during their lifetime

. People will not raise an eyebrow if they see these kinds of people buy bras online or in shops and department stores. But when straight men are caught accidentally wearing a bra, it will be an embarrassing situation for him. Much more, it will leave a dent on his image as a masculine. However, there are male actors who wore bra in the movies but people did not raise an eyebrow or created a furor among millions of moviegoers. Here are some examples of such actors who wore a bra because the role calls for it or for artistic reasons:

Tony Curtis

The movie made Marilyn Monroe as star but Tony Curtis stole some of the scenes from her. In "Some like it Hot," Tony Curtis and Jack Lemmon had to wear drag clothes in order to evade the gangsters because they have witnessed a crime scene. Curtis was really believable as a woman because he was only not handsome but many considered him beautiful as well. While the movie did not show a part where he and Lemmon wore a bra, you can only surmise that both did in order to have breast figures to make them believable as women.

Dustin Hoffman

He was unforgettable in the movie "Tootsie." In this movie, he played a down and out of luck actor and tried to pass himself as a woman in order to get a job. There was only one scene where he was shown to try on a bra but he was playing a woman seventy percent of the time during the movie. Based on the image portrayed in the film, you would find that Dustin was really wearing a bra underneath those old fashion clothes.

Robin Williams

In the movie "Mrs. Doubtfire," Robin Williams portrayed the role of a father who wanted to be with his kids and spent quality time with them. Although he was not shown going to lingerie department or logging on the Internet to buy bras online or offline, he sought the help of a friend and be transformed into a woman using prosthetics. The movie made a killing at the box office when it was shown and it joined the list of blockbuster movies of Robin Williams like Birdcage.

Martin Lawrence

In real world, we might know some undercover cops wearing a bra as part of the job. This type of situation was humorously visualised in the movie "Big Momma House." Martin Lawrence was wearing a drag queen costume in order to investigate and catch an escape convict. He was really outrageous portraying an aunt of the female lead in the movie played by Nia Long. It was fun to see Lawrence wearing a bra that can probably support one of the biggest pairs of breasts in the entire movie history.

These actors did not buy bras online to wear bras in a movie. Wearing bras in the films also did not diminish their statures as actors. In fact, their movies were classic hits and some were even considered a cinematic gem such as "Some like it Hot."
