Moving to a UK Property from abroad
There are many different places where you can buy property in the world but I would
definitely suggest buying UK property if you are looking for a nice house in a thriving country.
If you have just bought UK property then when you move in the first thing you should really do is get to know the people in the surrounding area and make friends as many English people are friendly people, so you will be able to make friends which may open up many different opportunities with work or activities if that is what you are looking for or just great company and friendship when you need it.
Another thing if you have bought some UK property and you are moving out of your country to there you will want to try and pick up at least some of the language. English is one of the most used languages in the world and is pretty easy to pick up if you practise and try learning it. In England you will need to know as much English as you possibly can as not as many people will understand your language there.
Just because you are moving to UK, don't expect to pick up the language straight away or at all just by being around English people. You are going to need to put some effort in and read English magazines, newspapers, listen to the radio and generally listen to people. The more you listen to the language and try and pick it up, the quicker you will start picking it up.
If you have kids that are moving into the UK property with you then you should consider getting them lessons in your native language as well as in English as they will pick up the language a lot quicker and it will probably take over their first language as they will be speaking English 99% of the time, so you want them to remember their roots and be able to speak their own language still.
Once you own UK property and are moved in and ready to go, try and make plans to get out of your new area a couple of times every month or so. Travel to another park of the UK and try to get used to your new surroundings and learn some new things about the country. This helps if you have friends or family over from your home country, you will be able to take them to new places with a bit of knowledge at hand. Also you will get a chance to see all of the culture which the UK has to offer.
If you are not going to use your UK property for the whole year then you are able to make a little bit of extra money even when you are not in the country, the best idea is to rent out your property to people while you are not there. For this to work you need to furnish your property nicely and charge a decent price for people on holiday. A lot of UK residents tend to holiday in the UK as it is cheaper than going abroad, so you are more than likely going to be able to rent it out and make a reasonable amount from it.
