When it comes to the Super Bowl, it's always the commercials that are the talkers the next day. And this year, it's no different.

On Sunday, automobile manufacturers used the "Sports Event of the Year" to advertise their new lines; Volkswagen, for example, had a hit in using a mini-Darth Vader in its commercial.American carmakers wanted to send the message that despite the bumps in the road of late, they are back and better than ever.

GM, in particular, made a splash with its two-minute promo for the Chrysler 200. Featuring Detroit-born Rapper Eminem, the commercial sends the message that although people may have written off Detroit and the American auto industry as down and out, both are vibrant and better than ever. GM is hoping the American people see that one of the iconic carmakers of this country is here to stay!

"I believe the GM commercial was probably the single best commercial they have ever done," said genConnect sales expert, New York Times best-selling author and automotive sales training consultant Grant Cardone.

Cardone actually watched the Chrysler ad with hundreds of car dealers at the National Automobile Dealer Association convention in San Francisco. He said, "it didn't matter whether they sold Toyota, Honda, Ford, or Chrysler they were all moved by this commercial."

"While people try to be practical with their car purchases, almost every vehicle purchase has a much deeper emotional investment.Cars are all made out of the same materials but this commercial goes after the driver, the company, the people and the history of comeback that allAmericans are moved by. I believe this commercial will cause people to consider Chrysler!"
