Every year, during the time of NBA (National Basketball Association) playoffs

, sports fans eagerly look for the champions about to emerge. It is the best-of-seven elimination tournament between sixteen teams in the Eastern Conference and Western Conference. The championships started on April 17, 2010. This year, Oklahoma City Thunder - a professional basketball franchise based in Oklahoma City, is making its first ever NBA playoff appearance vs. LA Lakers.

Facing Oklahoma City Thunder in the NBA Playoffs 2010, Los Angeles Lakers won the first two games of the best of seven series. In the first game, held on April 18th, Los Angeles won at home 79-87. On April 20th, Los Angeles won at home 95-92.

Defending champion and western conference top seed LA Lakers will face Oklahoma City Thunders team on Thursday, April 22 in the NBA playoffs to be held in Oklahoma City. This is the third match, and will be at 9:40 PM EST (Ford Center, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma).
