After exploring the gallery, you head over to the Memphis Botanic Garden to explore its 23 specialty gardens such as the Japanese Garden of Tranquility and the Four Seasons Garden that is a popular site for weddings and receptions.

Then from September 4 to 5 in downtown Memphis, the city will be celebrating the Memphis Music and Heritage Festival and will showcase artists from different music genres such as gospel, bluegrass, hip hop, and jazz, hosted by the Center for Southern Folklore. The Pink Palace Crafts Fair will be on October 7 to 10 at the Audobon Park where there will be lots of food, live entertainment, and arts and crafts put on display and sale, proceeds of which will go to the Memphis Museum System.

You can easily spend enjoyable Memphis vacations without having to break the bank. All you need is some creativity and research and you can find numerous activities and local attractions that will not cost much money to enjoy. Take for example Graceland, the home of legendary Elvis Presley; while tours inside his mansion and estate comes with a price, standing outside and getting your picture taken at the famous entrance gate of musical notes and Elvis outlines does not.
