New Electronic Cigarette: The Best Tobacco Cigarette Alternative

What is Electronic Cigarettes?

From afar, the new electronic cigarette or e-cigarette doesn't seem to have any difference from a real tobacco cigarette. This is because the e-cigarette was specially designed to emulate the function of a tobacco cigarette minus the other thousands of harmful chemicals such as tar, arsenic and carbon monoxide that are present in real cigarettes.

The e-cigarettes are electronic smoking devices that use lithium ion battery and an atomizer (small replaceable cartridge) to vaporize the e-liquid (Propylene Glycol, Glycerin, Water, Flavoring, and nicotine) that can be breathed and exhaled just like the traditional cigarette.

The e-cigarette has four components. The first component is the mouth piece (the red portion of the cigarette) that houses the e-liquid cartridge. The second component is the atomizer (heating element), while the third is the rechargeable battery that houses the circuitry.

The fourth is the LED light cover (at the tip of the e-cigarette) that lights up the moment that the e-liquid is vaporized to complete the whole "cigarette smoking illusion".

How does Electronic Cigarettes Work?

For most automatic models, the new electronic cigarette works pretty much easier. When the user inhales through the device, a sensor detects the air flow and activates the atomizer. The e-liquid or the nicotine solution then is heated producing a vapor that is inhaled by the user. The LED light cover lights up the moment that the vapor is inhaled, signifying the active use of the device.

The new electronic cigarette works pretty much the same as the other tobacco cigarette alternatives like nicotine gums and nicotine patches. The three works by satisfying the nicotine cravings of the cigarette smoker.

The only difference though lies in the fact that in e-cigarette, the concentration of the nicotine solution would be according to the will of the user of the device. The nicotine is even an optional component of the e-liquid. With the e-cigarette, you feel like smoking the real thing minus the harmful substances and the second hand smoke that the real cigarette can produce.
