Jordan is one of a select few footwear brands that has lasted for many years and never lost any of its momentum
. Unlike many sneaker brands who have a good few years and then fade into obscurity. There are so many brands still hanging on by threads that I can name a few including Pony, Asics, and even Reebok in my opinion. Neither of these brands have a staple within their market that consumers are looking for every time they release a new colorway or style.

First Jordan sneaker was released back in 1985 with the Air Jordan I which reminds me today a lot of the Nike Dunk model, but with a more old school basketball shoe feel. I remember when Jordan retired after his father died and then emerged back into sports, but not in basketball...baseball! Many people thought it was the end of the Air Jordan brand sneaker, but with Jordan having so many fans & followers it was only the beginning of an iconic man and brand.
