New Standards Accelerating China Socket Industry's Shuffle

From the socket products produced by according to the new national standards we can see that the contact area between plug and socket is larger and it is more closely, so it can effectively prevent the heat, at the same time its performance of protection against electric shock is better, all of these will greatly enhance the safety performance of socket products. Mr. Xu Dongsheng said that for the majority of consumers, the issue of the new national standard in socket industry would undoubtedly provide a more safe and reliable power consumption protection.

Experts believe that with the implementation of new national battery standards, a consolidation will be set off in socket industry, which will not only bring existence pressure for some small and medium enterprises who produce cheap and low-quality sockets, but also foreshadow the standardization and upgrade of the industry. According to a survey data of March provided by household industry, nearly 7 percent of the urban white-collar workers tend to choose simple decoration style. Recently, the reporter visited various supermarkets in Beijing and found the low-end sockets that sold well in the past have been taken off shelf quietly, or be displayed in the corners that less likely to arouse the attention of consumers, while some functional and high-end socket products with relatively high prices have taken up the prime location. So, whether the consumers will be satisfactory about this behavior of capacitor stores? The reporter made a simple questionnaire survey aiming at this phenomenon, and it show that over 90% of consumers recognize and accept this form of service, while the price is not the first consideration. They think that as long as the household appliances can provide maximum-security protection, they will not hesitate to buy.
