New York City, The Big Apple, The city that never sleeps
. One of the greatest cities in the world and for a few lucky folks a place they call home. As a Long Islander its second nature to say Im going to the city, jumping on the LIRR and spending the day walking around shopping and just hanging out in the city. Night life is great the cafes lounges and restaurants shopping.
Growing up spending so much time in the city Ive always wanted to move there. You dont need a car, as the subways will take you anywhere you want to go. That is if you dont feel like walking. It has something for everyone from all walks of life. At some point or another I think everyone in NY should live in the city and now its my turn. I wont be leaving though this is a permanent move. Long Island is nice and all but the city is for me. My sister lives in Williamsburg; I have plenty of cousins in Astoria Queens so its time to move. Last summer I spent a day helping my sister move in to her 6 story walk up and vowed to never do that again.
So next month when I move into my new apartment in the city Im using a New York moving company to help get all my furniture and belongings from out here in Suffolk to the city. Even though my building has an elevator, service elevator door man etc I have better things to do with my time and energy than spend it moving my stuff. Hiring New York City movers will save me time, money, and frustration. Theyre great at what they do so Im letting the pros take care of my move. I cant wait to call New York City home next month.
