Continuing from Part 2 of Outdoor Xmas Decorations Tips
, you will learn how to assemble and decorate your snowman in part 3.
What you need to do from here on is to slot your support board into the base of your main board. Before you can do this, you need to first measure the thickness and height of your support particle board (the one with only one big circle). Following this, trace the recorded measurements to your main body board from the bottom. Do it such that half your support board height is marked on your main body board, and that the same height is also marked on your support board from the top.
After you have done so, use your jigsaw or knife to cut along the marked lines so you now have a small slot at the base of your body. Simply slot in your support board from the bottom and the teeth should fit in nicely. If you have done it flawlessly, your new snowman should be standing on its feet very stably. In the event that it feels shaky, you can attach some wooden stakes at its base for embedding it into ground.
The hard part is over and your snowman is now ready for some decoration. There are almost limitless ways for you to do this but clothing him with a scarf and fedora hat is a must. You can also cut some simple round buttons off your spare particle board and paste it on his body. Here's another cool tip: cut out two big buttons and paint them black. As you can guess, these will be your snowman's eyes but it doesn't end there. You can easily attach small battery operated lights at its eyes so it has a sparkle of life!
There are many more ideas for you to explore but these should get you started on building a snowman. Have fun doing it and hope you like these small tips!
