Nfl Tickets - Fantasy Football: Players Stock Rising
Here are some players whose stock is or will be rising in the near future as far as fantasy football is concerned.
Ronnie Brown, Running Back, Miami Dolphins: Picked in the late third and early fourth round of most fantasy drafts, Brown is proving to be one of the best fantasy backs this season. The Dolphins run the ball plenty and he seems to be fully recovered from the knee injury that he suffered two seasons ago. He'd be a first-round pick if drafts were held today.
Braylon Edwards, Wide Receiver, New York Jets: Edwards looked like a different player in his debut with the Jets. He looked like the guy we remember from 2007. Edwards was active, showed good hands on a few plays and made some really nice grabs. Mark Sanchez is already confident in going to him, so he could salvage his fantasy season in New York.
Chad Henne, Quarterback, Miami Dolphins: Henne was extremely impressive in his second career start. He showed off his big arm on several plays and showed good blitz recognition. He will probably have his ups and downs, but he's got a lot of potential and could be a steal in keeper leagues.
Ted Ginn, Wide Receiver, Miami Dolphins: Ginn's value could see a major hike with Chad Henne now at the helm in Miami. Henne's got a big arm and could make the most out of Ginn's vertical speed. Ginn was not targeted by Chad Pennington a ton, but Henne could help Ginn realize his vast potential.
Jonathan Stewart, Running Back, Carolina Panthers: DeAngelo Williams has struggled all season and Stewart could be in line for more work, at least in short yardage and goal line situations. Something has to change for the Panthers and perhaps Stewart's power is just what they need.
Hakeem Nicks, Wide Receiver, New York Giants: Nicks is healthy and looking good. He's got the hands to make the kind of jaw-dropping catches that sell NFL tickets and is earning Eli Manning's confidence. He's a big target and should get looks in the red zone at the very least, so he's worth keeping an eye on.
Austin Collie, Wide Receiver, Indianapolis Colts: Things may change when Anthony Gonzalez returns, but Peyton Manning sure seems to like this kid. He reminds me a little of Brandon Stokely, who Manning built a great rapport with when he was in Indi.
Jermichael Finley, Tight End, Green Bay Packers: Finley could be taking over for Donald Lee as Aaron Rodgers' primary tight end target. He's got a boat load of talent and has serious potential as a receiver. Some people think he could be the next Antonio Gates. I wouldn't go that far, but I'd pick him up if I needed tight end help.
Ahmad Bradshaw, Running Back, New York Giants: Bradshaw looks like the best back in New York. He's ripping off good gains consistently and outshining backfield mate Brandon Jacobs pretty convincingly. He should be in line for more carries.
Felix Jones, Running Back, Dallas Cowboys: Jones could come back after the Cowboys' bye week. When he's on the field he's one of the most electric players in the game. If he can stay healthy, he could supplant Marion Barber as the starter.
