Nfl Tickets - Week 4 Elitists

And then there were five

And then there were five. Most of the teams around the NFL have seen dreams of their perfect seasons already slashed, with last-second losses and player injuries taking a toll on the regular season so far, but there are still five teams around the league standing with perfect 4-0 records after Week 4 of the regular season, bringing about a gust of change from the 2008 season, when the Steelers and Cardinals were the two left standing for the Super Bowl. For football lovers with NFL tickets online and even those who didn't make it to a game last week, here's how the road to NFL victory panned out during Week 4 games for undefeated teams.

Indianapolis Colts: Currently ranked No. 1 on ESPN's Week 5 Power Rankings, Peyton Manning and the Indianapolis Colts proved once again they deserve to be on top. The Colts have so far this season beaten the Jacksonville Jaguars, Miami Dolphins and Arizona Cardinals, and in Week 4 the Colts stuck it to the Seattle Seahawks, pounding out a 34-17 win. Manning and breakout receiver Austin Collie were the two-man tandem needed to pull out the big win, and they're a big part of the reason why Indianapolis is reigning atop the power rankings this week.

New York Giants: The NFC East superpower is ranked No. 2 on ESPN's Week 5 Power Rankings following the other Manning's stellar play in Week 4 against the Kansas City Chiefs, and even Eli Manning's heel injury isn't enough to stop the Giants from becoming Super Bowl contenders this year (can anyone say battle of the Manning brothers?). The Giants have had a fairly easy time getting to a 4-0 record so far this season, having beaten the Washington Redskins, Dallas Cowboys, Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Kansas City Chiefs, but they're still seen as a threat to most other teams around the league.

Minnesota Vikings: Football fans have to give it up to Brett Favre for his incredible play in the tense Week 4 game between the Vikings and the Packers. Favre put his 16 seasons with the Packers and an ugly divorce behind him to triumph over Green Bay 30-23 in the Monday Night Football game that helped give ESPN a 65% rating boost, and the Vikings move on to a 4-0 record after also downing the Cleveland Browns, Detroit Lions and San Francisco 49ers. Oh, and just because Brett Favre threw so well in the Packers game doesn't mean everyone forgot about Jared Allen and the Vikings' vicious defense against Green Bay. This Minnesota team will be a tough one to beat this year.

New Orleans Saints: The Saints came marching in, and they'll keep marching on at 4-0. Led by Drew Brees at the helm, the Saints helped rookify Mark Sanchez as New Orleans' defense dismantled the New York Jets in Week 4 action, and the team's explosive offense also helped the Saints rocket past the Jets on their way to a 4-0 start. The Saints, currently ranked fourth in ESPN's Week 5 Power Rankings, have had a tougher schedule than some 4-0 teams so far this season, having defeated the Detroit Lions, Philadelphia Eagles and Buffalo Bills before thumping the Jets in Week 4.

Denver Broncos: Perhaps the surprise of the AFC West so far this season, coach Josh McDaniels has proven that his Broncos might have been a circus in the off-season, but they're not playing around in the regular season. Brandon Marshall proved his temperamental tendencies could be forced off the football field in Week 4 when he helped the Broncs trample over the Dallas Cowboys in a very close game, and rookie running back Knowshon Moreno has also stepped up big time for Denver.

The Broncos have now challenged and won matches against the Cincinnati Bengals, Cleveland Browns, Oakland Raiders and Dallas Cowboys, and even though their schedule has been fairly easy so far, Kyle Orton has done a fantastic job at keeping his team in the spotlight. It's also worth mentioning here that Orton is one of three former Purdue quarterbacks to be on an undefeated team so far this season (the Saints have Drew Brees and the Colts have backup Curtis Painter).
