Nikon India has launched the affordable and compact Nikon COOLPIX S1000pj digital camera. This is the first digital camera to enter this segment in India with an inbuilt projector at an affordable price range.

Unfortunately, there still is a lot of tech which hasn't found its way to Indian shores yet. But Nikon has come up with a digital camera with an inbuilt projector. This projector provides user to see pictures and videos together with your family. This camera is bundled with 12 mega pixel and 5x digital zoom. The camera have 2.7 inch LCD with 5 level brightness adjustment.

Other features include contrast- detect focus and most important in-built projector.The storage of the camera is similar as other cameras. It has 36MB internal memory and SD memory cards. The quality of pictures is good. The camera supports JPEG, Movies (AVI format) and sound files WAV.

The various scenes selector are portrait, face detection, auto stabilizer, landscape, fireworks, sports, night portrait, dusk/dawn, sunset, beach/snow, museum, food, close-up, backlight, party/indoor, copy, auto scene selector. The sound quality is also quite well and executes good quality sound while projecting videos. The video quality is marvelous as it captures videos in HD format. The weight of camera is approx 155g. The camera displays photos as per date on which photos have been clicked in calendar format. The battery life of camera is approx 220 shots.

Overall the Nikon COOLPIX S 1000pj is highly recommended for clear and auto focus pictures, affordability and amazing battery life.I suggest to use this camera as it has AF with contrast-detects and projector which gives chance to see pictures and videos happily with your family.
