Nintendo DSi: A New Way to Bring Gaming to the Next Level

? Now, there is a new gaming console from the Nintendo company. Introducing Nintendo DSi; an upgraded version of the Nintendo DS Lite. It has many features that the other older versions cannot match up.

When you first look into the Nintendo DSi, you noticed that there is a built-in camera at the top cover and inside the middle of the gadget. With these, you can get instant pictures from your DSi. What's more, the gadget is lighter that DS Lite but the screen is 0.25 inch wider.

The physical features did not change for quite a bit. The bottom screen is still a touch screen, the familiar buttons are still there, the stylus, and there is still a built in microphone. But once you opened the application, a message prompt pops up to enter your name and other basic information. The application makes the menu unique for each individual user. And, this gadget has a 32GB storage capacity; suited for storing AAC music files, e-books, sounds and games.

There are also available cool applications in the gadget that its predecessors haven't got. There is a picture application that lets you edit your pictures to make them funnier. There is also a sound editor that could edit your recorded voices into different sounds. You can make your voice sound like a duck, a truck, or even like Mario's. Now, that is cool.

But, it still not ends there. Noticed why there is no game card slot? It is because you can now have DSi downloads straight from your DSi. You just need to have the free web browser for the DSi, connect to the internet, log in to their website and sign up. The download system works by buying points and then exchanging them for games and applications. Now, you don't need to use a computer to download applications from the internet. And you don't have to buy game cards just to have games.

Whether you use a Nintendo DSi frequently or not it is a very high rating game console that you must have in your pockets. Imagine how many DSi downloads, pictures and sound you can store in such a handy gadget.
