No Jail Time Just Halfway House For Agent Zero

No jail-time for Washington Wizards superstar guard Gilbert "Agent Zero" Arenas just

halfway house for carrying guns inside the locker room of his team in a home game last December 21.

For bringing firearms inside the locker room of the Washington wizards, National Basketball Association superstar guard Gilbert "Agent Zero" Arenas will spend 30 days at a halfway house the federal judge ruled.

The sentence is a big relief for Arenas since it allowed him to avoid spending time in jail for his crime which made headlines around the globe.

In his decision, District of Columbia Superior Court Judge Robert E. Morin also sentenced Arenas to 400 hours of community service, which cannot be

conducted at basketball clinics, and a $5,000 fine.

Arenas took time to apologized to the court and professional basketball fans for his crime saying if he will have his way he wish he had not done it.

The NBA superstar represented by his lawyer Ken Wainstein expressed gratitude over the decision of the judge not to throw him to jail saying he is now eager to do community work District of

Columbia.

Earlier, the prosecutors handling the case wanted Arenas to stay behind bars for three months for his action.

However, after evaluating the case, the judge decided to just order Arenas to do some community work instead of being jailed.

Last December 21, Arenas formally pleaded guilty to violating the city's gun laws in a Dec. 21 at Verizon Center.

Following an argument over an unpaid gambling debt totalling a few hundred dollars, Arenas brought several guns to the team locker room and

set them near Javaris Crittenton's locker with a sign telling him to "PICK 1."

Now that the gun carrying case is over,the global fans of Arenas most of whom Wizards followers hope the NBA superstar can finally go back to the NBA and resume his professional basketball career. Get your No jail time just halfway house for agent zero
