Noida, a part of NCR, has become one of the most sought after business destination for businesses from across the nation. The decade that has gone by has seen a tremendous response from leading international business enterprises towards Noida in terms of being a great place to do business.

With its proximity to New Delhi and the increased pressure on land due to economic boom conditions, property rates are on the rise in the township. Land rates which were in the Rs. 3,000-15,000/m range till about 5 years ago, have soared to Rs. 30,000-85,000/m. The sealing drive and eviction of commercial properties in Delhi and the arrival of the metro in Noida is another major reason for such high prices. In the past, the massive sealing drive by theMCDin adjoiningDelhi, has forced business houses and traders to shut shop in Delhi and move to other locations in NCR.Gurgaonand Noida were the favored destinations for such corporate and business houses and pushed property rates, both commercial and residential, up.

Noida is now developing as the next big commercial hub in the NCR. Noida is emerging as a preferred destination due to its fast developing infrastructure, proactive government policies and low costs.

The growing stature of Noida as a premium business destination could be gauged from the fact that most of the business conglomerates and giants from India and abroad have set up their offices here in the last decade or so. Most of the IT/ITES and automobile giants have offices here, and this has generated lot of employment and business opportunities in the city. Till a few years ago, it was only Mumbai, which is financial capital of the country and Bangalore, the IT hub, which were considered to be the biggest business centres. Now, Noida is slowly replacing Bangalore as the most preferred destination for IT / ITES companies. This is one of the reasons why there has been a surge in Commercial Projects in Noida.

Most of the companies involved in IT like HCL, TCS, Wipro etc. have their offices in the city. Multinational giants like Adobe and Microsoft have also made their presence felt in this city. A large number of BPOs also have had great success in Noida. Apart from these companies a number of shopping complexes, malls and arcades are opening up to leverage the growing demand of the NCR population.
