For 26 years, this lady has been a nurse. Back in the day, she saw both her grandparents suffer from Parkinson's disease. Since they all lived in the same household she was used to taking care of them.

The amounts of people that enter the hospital are mostly old people or those that get sent in the emergency room. Also, the nursing students who are supposed to be training in the hospital have decreased. When we look at what is going on in the economy in recent times this will lead to an increased demand for health care workers. All a person needs to do it to understand what a nurse really does and he or she will definitely have a better outlook on it. Even though nurses do more now than before, the image that people have on them are still the same.

Even if there is a growing need for nurses, the number of students and the graduates will not be able to compensate for the demand says the director at a nursing school in Moline. An increase in the number of uninsured patients due to job loss creates a higher need for nurses in emergency rooms.
