Single working moms are in a more difficult situation than those with partners who has someone to lend a hand with

. Single moms usually work to provide the needs of their kids alone and take all the responsibilities for their kids. They are in a much harder situation if they lack education which is primarily the key to have a better paying job.

Moms who were not able to complete their studies are forced to work with odd jobs that pays so little and the working condition isn't good and sometimes isn't even safe. They do everything just to make ends meet at home. After work, they have to carry out their duties at home as a mom leaving them no time for their personal life.

President Obama becomes concern to the situation of these single working moms. He wants to ease their burden by providing a scholarship to these moms to continue their studies. By having their dreamed education, they will the chance to advance in their career and have a much better job that pays well. Not only that, your working environment will be far different from what you are used to, it will be more likely.

To be able to qualify for the said scholarship offered by the government, you must be a US citizen, at least 18 years of age and has finished high school. The scholarship is only open as well for those moms that belong to low income. The Federal Pell grant which is the committee for this program has to make sure that they are really helping those who are really in need.

Single working moms can make a difference to their situation and to their family if they decide to take part with this scholarship program designed for them. With the free education that the government is offering, there would be no reason as to why one cannot go to college.
