Obama's Scholarships For American Mothers - A Dream Coming True Opportunity Through Federal Grants

? Then, your desires and dreams may come to true by Obama's new scholarship program 'Moms Returning To College'. The Government of Obama insists on all the mothers to go back to college and earn their degree with the government's grants to achieve their goals. The Pell Grant is the main financial aid providing scholarships to all the mothers to continue with their education.

The Federal Pell Grant Program is the largest of all the federal grant programs which provides financial aid to the single mothers and low income mothers in order to promote access to the post-secondary education and to assist them to pay for their higher education.

The participating institutions will award the grants to the students who are in need of it to obtain their bachelor degree. The amount will be credited to the eligible students to their bank accounts or directly to the students, usually by checks or by combining both the methods.

The following are the guidelines for paying the grants to the students.

* The students must be at least once in a semester; the institutes or the courses which are based on the yearly pattern must pay the students twice an year.

* The schools or colleges must tell the students in writing about how the student will be paid, how much and when will he be paid.

Students may receive upto $5100nper semester or up to $10000 per annum and this is likely to be increased to even more in the future.

The amount of money that can be granted to a student is also depends on the amount that the family of the student cam contribute for the education. The students receives a Student Aid Report (SAR) or the institution receives an Institutional Student Information Record (ISIR) after filling up the FAFSA or Free Application for the Federal Student Aid form and this notifies that whether the student is eligible or not.
