As the home based industry evolves so does the terminology. But is there really a

difference between a MLM and the new One24 MLM compensation plan which includes the

new IRP or Incentivized Referral Plan?

Sometimes people forget that words have meaning as the popular phrase goes. What

most people fail to keep at top of mind is that words often have several meanings.

With One 24 the name has several meanings already too many people. Literally it

means that you will receive One Green Ticket per month for 24 months which then is

used as a boarding pass when someone wishes to join the company. For others the

name implies a realistic business plan that can be used to help create or replace a

retirement income.

MLM which stands for multi level marketing has now become a generic term which

applies to all home based income opportunities. Traditionally MLMs required

purchasing inventory from a company at wholesale and maintaining retail clients to

avoid violating FTC regulation which protected people from companies which practiced

"Front End Loading". This was a practice used to get people to purchase large

quantities of products which increased their discount from the company. This

inventory usually sat in a closet, basement or garage never to see the light of day

or it might be given away to good will.

With the increase of a two working person family, time constraints and increased

technology newer forward looking companies created software which did away for the

need of their distributors to have to keep track of orders. This is how networking

or referral marketing evolved. Now each customer or member could order directly

from the company and the person who originally sponsored or referred that person to

the company continues to receive credit in the form of commissions when

predetermined purchase volumes are reached in the course of the month.

One 24 has now disrupted the entire industry by being the first company to create a

truly new compensation plan and term called the "IRP" or Incentivized Referral Plan.

This newest introduction to the lexicon will still take some time to catch on but

for the customers already benefitting from it don't seem to mind. They are all busy

trying to introduce what this reviewer feels is a very equitable way to motivate the

masses and for them to earn money for what they already do on a day to day basis

which is telling others about get deals and opportunities.

Now that you know the difference between the two plans only time will tell if IRP or

incentivized referral plans will become as popular as the term MLM or Multi Level

Marketing. If Mark Seyforth and One 24 have anything to say in the matter they will

at least hope to be able to say they were the ones to coin the phrase.
