The hard facts about online MLM businesses is that there is about a 95% failure rate. Yes, you read that correctly...only about 5% of people who try to build an online MLM business will succeed.
Why do so many people struggle? What is causing so many people to fail? If you're thinking that it is because online MLM businesses are just a "bad investment," you're wrong. Well, let me amend that. They ARE a poor investment IF you don't know what you're doing and if you fall into certain traps.
In particular, there is one thing that -- more than anything else -- causes the failure of an online MLM business. That one thing is lack of cash flow.
Now at first glance you might be thinking, "D'uh!" What I'm talking about, though, is not that a business is not profitable. It is literally that people lack cash flow at every stage of building an online MLM business.
To succeed in an online MLM business you need to keep yourself "in the game" at every stage along the way. You need to have a sustained enthusiasm and momentum. Having a consistent cash flow gives you the sustained momentum you need to build a successful and profitable online MLM business.
So how do you get this cash flow that you need to avoid being one of the unfortunate 95% of business owners who fail in network marketing? You get it by having the right "nuts and bolts" in place in your business.
I always advocate having a marketing system (what I called a "marketing funnel") in place. Incorporate some offers in your marketing funnel. One of the best things that you can do for this -- and which creates that good cash flow we've been talking about -- is to create and sell something that gives GREAT content at a good value.
So, for example, you can create an ebook, digital downloads, have someone interview youcreate a video series, etc. You get the idea, but create products that you can sale to your list that solves a problem they have. By doing this, now you can make money whether your prospects sign up into your networking company or not.
You also achieve a fantastic side-effect result by doing this: you position yourself as an expert and establish trust with your prospects. This is worth its weight in gold (literally!), because a large percentage of your revenues will come from people who have already bought from you. So even though you will not make a huge amount of money with a low-end product such as an ebook, what you gain in the lifetime value of that customer is invaluable.
What this means in the short-term is that you will have cash flow, which will give you options as well as the necessary excitement and momentum needed to beat the failure odds and build a successful online MLM business. So get going on the "nuts and bolts" of your business, and watch your momentum and your success grow!
