Opening of a new business

After a whole year of wondering who will buy the huge shop at the end of my road, I can now finally stop thinking and start guessing what the new owners will do with the shop. My husband wanted to buy the shop so he can start his own estate agent as he's bored of working for other people.

Unfortunately our finance isn't up to scratch so it was way beyond our budget, he was upset at first but then he just accepted his fate of never having his own business. Now that the sold sign is up outside the shop, my husband can finally stop dreaming about buying the place.

The builders have started working on the inside, I wanted to see what they were doing but they covered the windows with newspaper so no one can see anything from the outside. Now I was even more curious to know what they are doing.

To my shock I didn't have to wait that long to find out what it will be as they put up the new sign board with the company name on it. The sign had ' Used Cars Merton' written on it, so now I know that what it will be but why did they call it Merton, maybe it's their family name.

I received a leaflet the other day about that company but I threw it away as I didn't know who they were. I remember it was about the opening day, they were inviting the local people to join in the opening ceremony.
