Ordering A New School Mascot Cosutme

In my first year as a high school athletic director

, I was given the task ordering a new mascot costume to replace the old, beat up, smelly mascot costume that our school had been using for years. I had never ordered a mascot costume but I knew I could figure it out. Our mascot was a tiger; how hard could it be to find a new tiger costume?

I was told that they found the old mascot through an internet company and to try and find a similarly priced, good quality costume. I began my search for tiger mascot costumes that day was amazed at how many sites I found boasting the "best" or the "cheapest" mascot costumes. However, upon looking into these companies, I was left utterly unimpressed. The costumes were either outrageously over priced, or cheap and junky looking. Not the kind of mascot that I wanted representing our school.

After a few days of online mascot research I found team-mascots.com. They had tons of options for different mascots, and had the most variety I had seen. I went to the tiger section and saw several great looking costumes that I thought would be great for our school. I called the number on their website and asked for some more information. I explained to the woman on the phone that I found several costumes that I liked but was unsure of which would be best. I wanted the tough looking muscle tiger body that I saw in one costume but in the color combination of another. The woman from team-mascots told me that this was no problem; color changes were free. They even had an option to work with a designer to custom design your very own mascot costume, specifically for your team. She also made some great and helpful suggestions like a cooling kit to keep our new costume smelling better, feeling cooler, and helping to make it last longer.

After receiving several estimates from different mascot costume companies, I decided to go with the tiger costume from team-mascots because they were so helpful and offered us the best price. We chose an in-stock tiger costume and changed the color of its fur to exactly match our school colors. We also took the saleswoman's advice and ordered the cooling kit.

We received our mascot costume in just a few weeks and were extremely pleased with how everything turned out. It was exactly what we wanted! When all of the students, faculty, and community came to the first home game of the season they were all excited to see our brand new school mascot there to cheer our team onto victory!
