These fixtures can be adhered to any surface, provided you have the necessary tools. Concrete, plaster, brick, and even metal are no longer obstacles to personalized and fashionable lighting schemes. In fact, you don't even need a wall -- you can adhere these tracts to overhangs, foyers, and eaves to create an incredible customized lighting bonanza.

The beauty of these lighting systems is that they can focus light on any landscaping or architectural feature. This means you can emphasize or de-emphasize a range of features that may or may not be flattering. This can open veritable world of wonders for landscapers and design professionals.

Before getting too carried away, keep in mind you can customize your tracts to take on any shape provided you have extension pieces from the same manufacturer. Unfortunately, there is not a great deal of uniformity in the lighting business -- as each company is set of providing a truly unique lighting system. When buying a tract, if you know you will be customizing the shape, you would better off buying two or three sets to give yourself the flexibility and the resources you need to get the job done.

A note for you would-be impresarios -- measure, draw, and mark. Measure the distances, draw a sketch of the design you have in mind, and the make your marks accordingly. You would be surprised hoe many outdoor tract designs have been thwarted from a lack of planning. Keep in mind the expense of buying these fixtures and do your best to make the most of their versatility!
